Happy New Baby

Here I have a new baby card for a little girl. I used some Recollections Kraft cardstock, a piece of patterned pink gingham paper from a Paper Studio Pad and some sheer ribbon I picked up at my Dollar Tree. My circle die is from Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey Circles. The stamps and ink are from Stampin Up!. The stamp set is an older one called Fun and Fast Notes, the ink color is Pink Pirouette and the sentiment is punched with the Word Window  punch and layered with the Modern Label punch. I then finished it all off with some pearls from Recollections.

CARDZTV Challenge #22

Hi there!
Welcome back and
Happy 2013 to you all :o)

What better way to start off a new year than with a new baby? My husbands olive vendor from work and his wife just had a new baby girl in December. I wanted to make them a mini album and just finished it this week to mail off. This is my first baby girl mini and it was really fun :o)

The paper collection I used is from DCWV called Baby Girl. Lots of glitter pages and I love the pink, green and oranges combo :o)

Here are the photos and the video for the inside look :o)

I am entering this album over at Mary's CardzTV Challenge #22
The challenge is called "Baby New Year"
The winner will get a set of CardzTV stamps :o)

She is giving everyone until the 24th to enter, that's TWO weeks! So go make a baby
project and join the challenge :o) Good Luck to All!

Baby Cutouts

A friend of mine had mentioned she wished she had a Cricut after I posted the Baby Boy caddy I made a few posts back. Well...I contacted her and told her I would make some and mail them to her so she can use for them for a couple of Great Grand Babies coming :o) Here they are... I love this cartridge!

These were cut at 3 inches from the Simply Charmed cartridge, the word "happy baby" was cut at 1 inch and the word "welcome little one" was cut at 1 1/2 inches. Aren't they just too cute!

Baby Boy Caddy

So my friend who recently moved closer to me is having a little boy, in August I believe. I wanted to make her one of the caddy's I like to do. You can see the tutorial here  :o) I plan on filling this up with some baby goodies and boy do I know boys :o)! I do want to point out that I attached all of the panels with scor-tape so they wouldn't come loose as I fill it and will stay in place over time so she can keep using it. It will look so cute sitting on his dresser :o) All of the cutouts are from the Simply Charmed cartridge and were cut at 3 inches. The word cutout was at 1 1/2 inches. All are popped up on foam squares. The patterned paper is from the 8x8 K&CO line Itsy Bitsy Baby Boy. The cardstock is from my stash. The light blue is actually a shimmer cardstock, the camera just couldn't pick it up :o)

These photos were not taken in the best lighting, we have a very gray day going on so I had to use my lamp...

I hope every one is having a great start to the week :o)

Baby Boy card

Here is a baby card that I made to give to one of the teachers I am friends with at the school two of my boys attend. This is her first baby and I am so excited to get to meet him today. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge, I love this one! I cut the baby pajamas out at 3 inches and the head and hair curl at 3 1/4 inches to match the body size. I was watching youtube videos on how to do the babies and Mary over at cardcrazy09 on YT did one that shows how to giver your baby neck, too cool. Here is a link to that video titled Cutest Little Baby Face Cards. Have a great day everyone!
