Card - Hello Sweet Friend

Hello!

Today I have another card I made using an image I colored with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers. This again is a CC Designs stamp. The same one as my earlier post, Cute Birgitta :) I just love her! I have more to show in the future so don't worry, they are not all going to be the same ;) I also used the Spring Bench for this card.

The colors I used for these images are...
Skin ~ FS1, FS2, FS4
Hair ~ GB1, GB4, GB7
Outfit ~ DG1, DG2, CG1, CG2
Shoes ~ BG5, BG6
Bench ~ BG1, BG2, BG3
Grass ~ CG1, CG2
Butterfly ~ OR1,CT4

The sentiment is from a Stampin Up! set titled Six-Sided Sampler currently available :)
The papers came from a 6x6 pad I picked up at WalMart, super cute prints!
The Spellbinders Nestabilities die I used is called Labels Twenty-Five.
The cardstock is by Recollections from Michael's

Friendship

So I needed to make a friendship card for someone and this is what I came up with. I really like the way it turned out. The paper I used had sort of a tea dye look around the edges but when I cut it some of it was gone. Well, in order to fix this I inked around the edges with some Colorbox ink called Dune. I like the way it turned out actually.

My card...

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Friend card

Here is a card I made last night for a friend :0) I used paper from a mega DCWV spring pack and the digital stamp is from a set at Scrappin Doodles. Again I used colored pencils, these are my favorite way of coloring :0) I put some yellow glitter glue from Michael's on the beak of the bird to add some sparkle :0) The sentiment stamp is from Heidi Grace and fit just perfectly on the sign. Here it is...

Enjoy your Thursday everyone! We have quite a bit of snow coming down so it's a perfect day to sit around in my cozy pants with my cappuccino and color :0)

8 cards today, man I'm on a roll :0)

So...I have been trying to do the whole use up your old stuff before buying any new. Well, I haven't bought anything personally for at least 2 months except a pad of wedding paper, very needed! I have used gift cards on a few items but all in all I think I can do this :0) Anyway, back in December I posted a few pictures of the accordion albums I made for two of my boys teachers. Since I had paper left over I decided to make some cards out of it and, 8 cards later :0), here they are...

I hope every one is having a great week so far!  Hugs!!!!
