Updated Penguin :0)

So I was looking at my cut outs last night and I noticed I stamped the duck face on my penguin, lol. I know...discraceful huh? :0) Well, I fixed it! I took off the white piece and cut out another to place the correct stamp on. Here he is...much better! Have an awesome Friday all! Off to mom's today :0)

Using scraps Batch #3

Hi everyone! Hope you all are well :0) I have been very busy using my scraps today! Here is another batch I have put together using create a critter. I did not do some of the accessories due to I'm not sure how these will be used so when the time comes to put them on some cards I will accessorize accordingly :0) I used my peachy keen critter stamps for the faces. So...I have been trying to do the whole use up your old stuff before buying any new. Well, I haven't bought anything personally for at least 2 months except a pad of wedding paper, very needed! I have used gift cards on a few items but all in all I think I can do this :0) Anyway, back in December I posted a few pictures of the accordion albums I made for two of my boys teachers. Since I had paper left over I decided to make some cards out of it and, 8 cards later :0), here they are...

Busy Mess :0)

Well...I got sick of being cold in the basement so I moved a bunch of supplies to our dining room table :0) This is my scrap area while working on this mini album called 'All about Me'. I think, so far, it is turning out great! Very time consuming though ;0)

Hello Everyone!

Hi all! I just want to thank you all for following my blog so far. I'm sorry I haven't posted anything lately. As most of you know I have 4 crazy boys that were all on Spring Break last week so...not much time to craft for me :0) This week I still have 2 but, with that said, I have gotten a little more craft time in. And hey...I got all of my images stamped and mailed out to my wonderful friend Tracy. You are awesome my friend!

Duct Tape Wallets with my Boys :0)

Today we messed around making Duct tape wallets. I bought a roll of white at Target so they could draw on them and know who's was who's. This is how they turned out...

Yes, I know that the flaming guitar is upside down :0) This one is Caleb's and that is how he drew it. Dallas wouldn't let me take pictures of his but, it is done with pac-man drawings, really cool actually. Hope every one has had a great Thursday!

Some Coloring :0)

So... I have been trying out my new Bic markers lately and I really like them. I do wish, like Tracy says that their was a flesh color. In these pictures the image on the left is done with colored pencils and the one on the right is done with the Bic markers. I tried to stay as close in color as I could. I do think I will be investing in some Stampin' Up markers after seeing Tracy's images. I like the way they look :0) Hope every one had a wonderful Wednesday!

Birthday Card

Hi all, Happy Friday!!!! This is my final birthday card for the month of March. This one is going to my brother in Nebraska who is turning 40. I used the Birthday Bash cartridge for this one using the card feature. I was also able to use my scrap pieces to make this :0) I put some stickles on the flame and the "sprinkles". Enjoy!

I used Mini Monsters and Doodlecharms tonight...Getting down to trying to match colors as best as I can now. Still have a lot more to go through but they are really small pieces so I'm not sure those will work. Guess we'll see :0) Enjoy!

Using scraps :0)

So...I have decided that it is time to start using up my scraps. I pulled out the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge last night and this is what I did so far. This also will get me to use some of the cartridges I haven't yet. I think I will post some pictures as I go :0) Here is the first batch...

The one with the heart is driving me a little crazy, the heart is not centered but I don't want to lift it up since it might tear :0) Oh well, right...they can't all be perfect, can they?

St Patrick's Day Cards

I created these cards using a technique that my friend Heather (GreenScrapinMachine - YT) showed. It is called the One Sheet Wonder. You can make 10 cards using one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11. This was really fun. Her and I were skyping last night and I told her I was going to try this. Well, today I just jumped right into it. I added my own touch along the way of course. New Markers, YAY!

My absolute wonderful Mom did it again! She heard me talking about wanting these markers for a while now and guess what came today?! I have tested every color and I love them all. Now I can really start coloring some of my stamp images like I want to. She got me the fine and ultra fine, that is why there are two different sets. We got them from Walmart.com and they were delivered fedex. It take about a week but I think it is worth the wait. Hope everyone had a great day!

Altered Frame :0)

This is my very 1st altered frame so don't be too harsh :0) I purchased the frame at my local Dollar Tree. It is only a 3 1/2 x 5. I wanted to start small to get the feel of it. I first painted the entire frame with some acrylic paint in a cream color. The paper line used is DCWV Linen Closet from the mat stack. The pearl swirls are by recollections and the flowers I made. I put brads in the centers of the crochet flowers that match the paper and I stamped the sentiment using a Heidi Grace clear stamp and I cut the shape out with my Cricut but I can't remember which cartridge I used. I think it turned out good and I am very pleased with it. I know what things I would do differently next time too :0)

Birthday card #3 of 3

This card I made for a very good friend of my mom's. She has helped out a lot, more than I could ever thank her for so I made this card for her birthday. She works in a vets office so I thought this would be cute :0)

Birthday card #2 of 3

This is the card I made for my brother Donny's birthday. He is turning 39 this year and he has always liked Donald Duck so lucky for him I have the Mickey and Friends cartridge, yay! :0) On the inside I did some faux stitching on the flag which I have never attempted before. I love the way it looks.

Birthday card #1 of 3

Here is a b-day card I made for my friends daughter this month. She is going to be 4 on the 25th :0) This is the first card I have made using the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I think it turned out great. I flocked the nose and the inside of the bears ears and used bling for Kitty's nose and on her bow. I have to make three more cards to go out this month so they will be coming soon :0) Hope everyone is having a great day!

Holidays Paper Bag Album

Here is a quick slide show of the Paper Bag Album I made for Mother in law. You can watch the full video here on my youtube channel. I love the way this turned out and I want to make more. I used an 8 1/2 x 11 paper pad called Four Seasons from Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. The pull tabs are crochet flowers I made to match each page and I hot glued a rhinestone in the center of each one. The words and embellishments were all cut out on my cricut using my gypsy :0) Hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

4 Red Vines are my sin and they will get the best of me someday!

5 I believe GOD works wonders and I will always count on Him to pull me through :0)

6 I have a hard time sharing some of my creations due to thinking that everyone else is a whole better, I'm working on this one :0)

7 My brain doesn't seem to stop running sometimes and I can't keep up with it! Too many ideas, too little time!

8 I absolutely want to be crafting continuously!

I have a four day with my boys so I can't say that I will get much done until they go back to school next Wednesday, we will see!

Caleb's Paper Dolls...

Caleb wanted to make some Paper Dolls after seeing the little Police Man I did on Mike's card. He chose these three for now. A Fire Fighter, Police Man and Construction Worker. I'm sure he will be making more as these are my favorite to do also. Aren't they just too cute?

Valentine card for my Hubby :0)

 Very non traditional Valentine colors but I love the way this turned out. I just couldn't do pink and flowers for my guy. I inked around everything on this one including the monkey :0)

So these are the flowers I have been working since Wednesday. I learned how to crochet them! So easy and so fun :0) I have more than this now, this picture was from Thursday when I did my video talking about what kind of yarn and thread I used. Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Flowers and Day at home from school...

So school was canceled today due to weather conditions. Our high reached 0 today so can you all say, brrrrrrr! I get cold very easy so I hate this kind of weather. With the boys home all day we needed to find some entertainment, mainly for Caleb :0) After watching a video on youtube from Kelly at walkelmol here. She put up a tutorial on making these flowers out of newspaper or coffee filters. I don't get the paper and I am going to try the coffee filters very soon. Watch her video, very easy and cool flower tutorial. In fact. they are so easy that Caleb was doing them along with me. Here are his flowers, beautiful for a 6 year old little boy if you ask me.

He did these all by himself even inking the edges. After a while he even poked the holes to put the brads through on his own also. He's getting good!

Now here are mine. I did one using two different colors and layered them but I'm not sure if you can see it that well in the picture. These are so much fun and so super easy!
