Valentine gifts

These are Post it note holders made with the acrylic frames you can get at Walmart for about $.80 I think they are. This isn't a close enough shot but I inked around all of the paper and card to match. These are going to Ty and Caleb's teachers for Valentine's Day. I made the post it note holders so you can change out the pad when it used up. I love the way these turned out. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Basketball Birthday card

Here is the front of the card. Done in the Denver Nuggets colors and number 15 for Carmello Anthony. I'm not a basketball fan so I had to look his number up on google, hee hee.
Here is the inside where I just stamped Happy Birthday and this pocket was made out of the envelope you can take when you buy a gift card at Target. I cut the flap off, covered it with the same paper as the outside of the card and punched a notch out with my circle punch. Then I just adhered it to the inside of the card.
The gift card is attached to a piece of cardstock paper when you buy it so you can write to and from and how much on the back so I put a hole in it and tied ribbon so it can be pulled out. I love the way this card turned out and I hope my sons friend likes it.

Movie night tonight...The A Team ans The American with George Clooney. We'll see how they are!

Baby Boy card

Here is a baby card that I made to give to one of the teachers I am friends with at the school two of my boys attend. This is her first baby and I am so excited to get to meet him today. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge, I love this one! I cut the baby pajamas out at 3 inches and the head and hair curl at 3 1/4 inches to match the body size. I was watching youtube videos on how to do the babies and Mary over at cardcrazy09 on YT did one that shows how to giver your baby neck, too cool. Here is a link to that video titled Cutest Little Baby Face Cards. Have a great day everyone!

Cricut cartridge overload...

Well...I thought I was only getting my Tinkerbell and friends cartridge until my mom went on a cricut cartridge rampage. This is what came today, Oh My Gosh! Talk about cricut heaven! She told me these should hold me over for a while, huh, more like forever. If I never get another one I'd say I'm in good shape with all of these plus what I have previously. I want to share the website that these were purchased at. Some start at $10.99 and they have some Disney ones for $16.99. Incredible prices and good service so far. The place is called Memory Miser. Go check them out! Hope everyone had a terrific Tuesday!

Rosette Flowers or Medallions

I have been trying to make these for a while now. Tracy gives a tutorial on her youtube channel here that is very easy to understand. Heather also posted a tutorial video on her channel here. After finding out I had to use a 12 inch length strip I got it right! Thanks girls for the great tutorials, super easy and a lot of fun.
These were done using strips measuring 2x12, 1 1/2x12 and 1 1/8x12. I used the scallop dot punch by EK success for the edge and little heart buttons in the centers of these. Can you tell I have spring fever? I used single sided patterned paper for all of these also, not sure if you can see the patterns in this photo though. Lots of fun! Hope every one is having a great weekend!!!!

This is what happens when I get up...

After reading a book to Caleb for bedtime this is what I came back to...Maverick and Allie taking my warm cozy spot on the couch :0)
This is my favorite blanket Allie is curled up on that my mom made me forever ago. Keeps me warm on the couch and in bed, hee hee :0)
Here is a photo with the flash. It was after 8 PM here so I only had the table lamp on in the living room. Isn't she sweet and cuddly? This is my maltipoo Allie. She will be 5 yrs old on April 1st :0)
