Another Easter Card

So, I needed another Easter card and I liked the bunny I did before so well I decided to make another only using pink. Too cute! I used the paper pad from Hobby Lobby for Seasons, cardstock from stash, ribbon from stash, flower from stash, glitter glue on nose from Michael's and the sentiment from my computer. This is on a wobble, yet again :o)

Set of Cards

This is a set of cards I made for a really nice lady who works for my husband Jeremy. She is really sweet and kind so, for the past couple of years I have been making her sets of blank cards. She loves them! The paper I used is from a Colorbok pad from WalMart, I punched all of the flowers out and layered them. The buttons are from my jar, the pearls are all recollections from Michael's and the ribbon is random from my stash. Here they are... There are two of each of the first four cards to make a set of 10 :o)

Birthday card

I made this card for a very dear friend of mine. She just moved closer to me so we get to see each other more often now :o) I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for this one. I don't remember what size I cut it out at though. The patterned paper is from a Nikki Sivils 6x6 paper pad called "Bella Blue and Oscar Too" The rhinestones are an assortment of my stash. No photo of the inside because I already wrote her a message before I remembered I didn't take a photo, oops :o)

Oh...and I used another wobble :o) Love these things! I just purchased a pack of 25 wobbles for $9.99 and got them super fast. Here is the link for you if you are interested The Scrapbooking Queen/shop. Enjoy!

Tracy's Challenge

I am officially joining Tracy with her new challenge. No shopping of scrap related items, minus adhesive, until July! She says in her post, link above, that she would start off with a month to see but, I am going to go full force. Cold turkey is the only way it will work for me. I picked up a few things at Michael's today and starting tomorrow morning - March 26th - No Shopping For Me! I have enough to last a while so I am with her on using what we have to make room for new :o) This will definitely be a challenge but, mind over matter and we can do it! Anyone willing to join us is more than welcome.

Wish us Luck!

Home Decor

In my kitchen I have a theme of coffee and cappuccino going on. It is hard to find things to hang on the walls sometimes so I got the Love you a Latte cartridge to make some of my own. The papers I used are from the K&CO line Life's Journey and the cardstock is from my stash. The images were cut at 5" and the words were cut at 1". The "Latte" word was cut from the Teardrop font cartridge and welded together with my Gypsy. The burgundy cardstock measures 8x8 and the patterned paper is 7x7. Just need to frame them and they are ready to go :o)

My boys are on Spring Break this coming week so YAY!

Wobble Wednesday Challenge

Here is my entry for todays Wobble Wednesday's Challenge. This challenge is hosted by The Scrapbooking Queen. This weeks theme was to do a boy or masculine card. I used one of my favorite Paper Studio stacks called Cheeky Monkey :o) I also used some of the cardstock stickers that match and just backed them with some yellow cardstock. I used some of my homemade bakers twine again, harvest orange. The brads are from my stash :o) I took my scissors and roughed up the edges to look more "boyish".

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, being part Irish and loving the color green (certain shades anyway :o)) I made this card. The paper is from a Paper Studio Seasons Pack from Hobby Lobby, the cardstock is from the same company in a variety pack, the ribbon is from Michael's and the centiment is from my computer. The green rhinestones are also from Michael's that I received in a RAK, Thanks Pea! I cut the shamrocks out at 1 1/2 inches from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I hope you all enjoy your weekend and get to go outside, it is so nice here so I know we are :o)

Jinger Adam's Design Team Entry

Hi all! This is my entry for Jinger Adam's Design Team call. I have had so much fun making these boxes and note cards that I thought it would be perfect. I made this one with some paper I got at Target before Valentine's Day. The cardstock is Recollections from Michael's. I cut the "Love Notes" using my cricut for the oval and my nestabilities lacey ovals die for the mat behind it. My intention is to set this out for my family to grab a not card whenever they want to write on and give away. I write notes for my boys all the time and instead of a plain old post it note, this is much cuter :o) The best part is, it's refillable! I can make more as needed :o) Here are the photos...

Notecards and box

Hello everyone! I was wanting to make some 3x3 note cards for my mom and then I thought I wanted a little box to put them in also. I found a video tutorial on the box from Sarah at  liveloveandscrap on YT. I have made two boxes and cards so far :o) These are so much fun and so easy to make! I have another set of cards completed to do a tutorial on how I did my boxes so I will have that up on my YT channel soon.
Here is the one for my mom...

And because I love Disney so much...

Talented Ty :o)

Here is a short video of Ty playing the recorder. He has been learning how to play the recorder in music class since last year. The song is Yankee Doodle and they have been working on it for about a week, I think :o)

TGF Digital stamp card

For this card I used one of The Greeting Farm digital stamps Dressy Ebony. I used good old Crayola colored pencils to color her in. I put some red stickles on her pendent for her necklace and also some Michael's glitter glue in the center of her flower. Once again I used my favorite spellbinders die to cut out the mat behind the image and finished it off with some recollections pearls. No sentiment so this one can be used for anything :o)

Bunny card

This is a very simple 4x4 size card. The bunny is cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge at 3 inches, I think :0) It was made as part of a challenge for Caleb to use his new learned faux stitching. He wanted me to do one along side of him :0)
Here is mine...

 You can find Caleb's here

This is a side by side of our faux stitch patterns :0)

Hope you have all had a wonderful weekend!

Caleb's Blog!

I am proud to announce the launch of Caleb's new blog! I wanted him to have a space of his own to show his work since he has showed such an interest in card making all of a sudden. His cards are wonderful for a 7 year old (I could be a little bias) and we want to show them off. Please go on over and check him out Kids for Cards
He has a lot of posts coming up so be on the look out :0)

Thank you!
