For Heather!

A good friend of mine had her little bundle of joy this evening! Baby Graham was due a few days ago and showed no interest of entering our strange world. Well... he was told he needed to come out today :o) All went well with Heather and Graham, thank you God! He is healthy and she is doing well :o) I made this to celebrate this new little man...
Welcome Graham!
Isn't he adorable!

Big hugs to Mommy Heather, Daddy John
and Big Brother Christian!

Disney Week Project #3

Welcome to Project #3

For this one I decided to make a card. I used a downloaded coloring page image and resized it to fit my card. I colored the image with my Crayola colored pencils. The background paper on this one is from my stash again and cardstock is from Recollections. The sheer lavender ribbon was purchased at my local Dollar Tree :o) I love finding ribbon in there! Tweety was my favorite character for the longest time when I was younger. In fact, my first tattoo is of tweety bird :o)

Disney Week Project #2

Welcome to my 2nd project for Disney Week :o)

I made these signs for the boys to put on the front of the dishwasher so they know who's turn it is to unload :o) I had some that we made out of fun foam and they decorated them but they started falling apart after a while. Well, I decided it was time for new ones and here they are...

All the characters were cut from the Mickey and Friends Font cartridge along with the names. The striped paper was in my scraps from a Hobby Lobby seasonal pack made by Paper Studio. All of the doodling was done with my Pentel white gel pen :o)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!

Today is also the beginning of Disney Week :o) I wanted to start off with not just a character but, to incorporate Easter as well. This is what I came up with...

I totally love the way this turned out! It took a couple of different cuts from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge, the Doodlecharms cartridge and my Gypsy to accomplish this one :o) I love playing around! The paper is scraps from my stash and the cardstock is Recollections. The ric-rac ribbon is from my stash and of course I used my gel pen for her eyes.

Make sure you check out all of the great projects coming up this week from all of the participating bloggers :o) Enjoy!

Easter Caddies

These are the basket/caddies I made for the boys this year :o)

Maverick's

Dallas's

Ty's

Caleb's
 HAPPY EASTER :o)
Hugs!

Seriously...

Well...another Urgent Care visit down. This time it was Ty. He was outside playing around with the neighbor kids when he got whacked with a homemade sword thing? It was constructed out of some kind of wood I guess and when the kid took it from him he swung around and accidentally got Ty right in the face. You can imagine the panic when we saw all of the blood and Ty holding on to his face. Not to mention the way Caleb was screaming "OH My God!" as they entered our garage to come inside the house. The shaking in my body started immediately and as Jeremy kept checking his face, after applying paper towels and pressure, he says "you need to take him in there is a hole" YUCK! Straight to urgent care we went. Once there they took him back right  away and started fixing him up. The worst part was the numbing shots before the stitches and we discovered that it went all the way through and tore the inside of his mouth also, really gross. Not too bad now, two stitches inside and two outside. We go back on Wednesday to get the outside ones removed and he should be good to go. I think I am done now, talk about stress and a much needed recovery process for me :o)

Hope you all have an "accident" free weekend, I'm going to try not to :o)

Hmmmm...

So this afternoon was a little busy for me. Just hanging out waiting for Dallas to get home from school, I look up at my clock and notice he was already 5 minutes late. Yes, I am a little neurotic when it comes to my boys :o) Next couple of minutes and my phone rings, my neighbor up the street says Dallas is at her house and he had fallen off his skateboard, okay, can you come get him? I send Maverick up and then he calls, mom he can't walk bring the van, crap!
Urgent Care visit here we come...
It's a broken arm!
Splint and sling until at least Friday and then a cast :o( I want to proudly announce that I have had boys for almost 17 years now and this is our first break :o) He's not happy but will be fine!

More cutouts for Mom

These are the last of the cutouts for my mom for now. We have enough to do 65 notepad holders!

This one is from the Simply Charmed cartridge...

These are all from the Create a Critter cartridge...

I have to go back and do all of the doodling with my white gel pen so once I do that I will update the photos so you can see :o)

Cutouts for Mom

So my mom is going to be moving back into a senior apartment building. There are only 88 units throughout so you kind of get to know everyone pretty quick. She was there before and still knows some of the other residents who are still there :o) Well...she wants to make some post it note holders that look like this style...

She purchased a couple of paper pads from WalMart and I cut it all down to get ready to assemble...
I stamped these to go on the fronts...
This is the beginning of the cutouts...
Here are some closer looks at what I have so far... These are from the Simply Charmed cartridge.

I still have more to go and the other cartridge I will be using is Create a Critter :o)

Baby Boy Caddy

So my friend who recently moved closer to me is having a little boy, in August I believe. I wanted to make her one of the caddy's I like to do. You can see the tutorial here  :o) I plan on filling this up with some baby goodies and boy do I know boys :o)! I do want to point out that I attached all of the panels with scor-tape so they wouldn't come loose as I fill it and will stay in place over time so she can keep using it. It will look so cute sitting on his dresser :o) All of the cutouts are from the Simply Charmed cartridge and were cut at 3 inches. The word cutout was at 1 1/2 inches. All are popped up on foam squares. The patterned paper is from the 8x8 K&CO line Itsy Bitsy Baby Boy. The cardstock is from my stash. The light blue is actually a shimmer cardstock, the camera just couldn't pick it up :o)

These photos were not taken in the best lighting, we have a very gray day going on so I had to use my lamp...

I hope every one is having a great start to the week :o)

Another Easter Card

So, I needed another Easter card and I liked the bunny I did before so well I decided to make another only using pink. Too cute! I used the paper pad from Hobby Lobby for Seasons, cardstock from stash, ribbon from stash, flower from stash, glitter glue on nose from Michael's and the sentiment from my computer. This is on a wobble, yet again :o)

The front...
 The inside...

Set of Cards

This is a set of cards I made for a really nice lady who works for my husband Jeremy. She is really sweet and kind so, for the past couple of years I have been making her sets of blank cards. She loves them! The paper I used is from a Colorbok pad from WalMart, I punched all of the flowers out and layered them. The buttons are from my jar, the pearls are all recollections from Michael's and the ribbon is random from my stash. Here they are... There are two of each of the first four cards to make a set of 10 :o)

Birthday card

I made this card for a very dear friend of mine. She just moved closer to me so we get to see each other more often now :o) I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for this one. I don't remember what size I cut it out at though. The patterned paper is from a Nikki Sivils 6x6 paper pad called "Bella Blue and Oscar Too" The rhinestones are an assortment of my stash. No photo of the inside because I already wrote her a message before I remembered I didn't take a photo, oops :o)

Oh...and I used another wobble :o) Love these things! I just purchased a pack of 25 wobbles for $9.99 and got them super fast. Here is the link for you if you are interested The Scrapbooking Queen/shop. Enjoy!
