Caleb scored!

So Jeremy and Caleb went to Sam's Club to do some shopping and I told them there was a big pack of construction paper there. Yep...they got it. Here he is so proud!

Tinkerbell note book :0)

So I finally got around to making myself one of the altered Michael's note books I picked up. Just wanted to share the final result and of course it's Tinkerbell!

I love the way this turned out :0) The Tinkerbell is a dimensional sticker I got in RAK from Pea along with the green sparkly ribbon, Thanks again Pea! The pearl swirls and flower are from Michael's and I just cut it apart to work for what I did. I cut my name out with my Tear Drop font cartridge. I even put tiny pom poms on Tink's slippers and used some iridescent glitter glue over them along with on her wings, even though you can't see it here :0) Hugs!

Cricut Create Cover!

So I was on google, googling Lol!, and I wanted to figure out how to make a cover for my Create. My mom came over and we were trying to make a pattern and it wasn't working too well. We would have gotten it eventually but she said, "there has to be something online somewhere". Ding ding ding! I found a pattern as a free printable download and here it is. I took a couple of old pillow cases to practice on and they didn't turn out half bad. The second one is better after I tweaked the pattern a little. The first one was too lose fitting for my taste. Here are some pictures...

Now I think I can move on to some good fabric, Tinkerbell of course.

I saw some at Walmart that was really cute and I think I am going to

try and quilt it so it isn't so thin. I'll keep you posted on my progress :0)

A little BMX action!

Today we went to a local park where they have a BMX dirt track. The boys had a blast! This is definitely a way to wear them out quickly :0)

Goofin' Around!

Hi all! Well...it's the middle of the week already and I have gotten a lot of creative time in so far. The boys are cooperating nicely :0) Here is a birthday card I did today. Gotta love Goofy! I made this in an easel style using some scraps of paper I had on hand and used my Mickey and Friends cartridge. The stamp is by Heidi Grace. Enjoy!

Vintage made

Hello everyone! I hope this week is going great for all of you :0) I decided to try my hand at making some vintage looking embellishments. I don't do vintage stuff so this is as good as it gets for me so I thought I would share what I did. Thanks for checking it out!

 Caleb has a tutorial on my YT channel here to make these flowers :0)

 These were cut using K & CO paper from Life's Journey and the Ashly'n Alphabet cartridge.

 I used a flower power punch by EK Success for these. The cream ones are inked then layered with matching cardstock.

 These were also cut from the Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge and layered on the same cardstock used for the other cutouts. Let me know what you think :0)

All cleaned up!

All done sorting, all is back to normal now, yay! I stayed up sorting after the boys went to bed so I wouldn't lay awake thinking about how my brads were not organized :0) Crazy huh? I bet Tracy would understand ;0) I hope you all have a terrific day!

Not doing too bad on time either. Took about a half an hour to get them all out of the carpet :0)
Now they have to be sorted again but, I think we will tackle that tomorrow!

Using Scraps Batch #4

So I decided to use up some more scraps and discovered I have an awful lot of pink :0) Not so much now! I grabbed my Hello Kitty Greetings and Font cartridges and went to town. Well...three days later...

Now to find something to use them all for :0)

Altered Disney Notebooks

Hi all! I have finally gotten something creative done :0) I have had the worst block ever lately. I hope this gets me going again! I made a couple of notebooks for my nieces that are coming out to visit from Nebraska soon. I got this idea from Heather known as GreenScrapinMachine on YT. Click her name and it will take you to the video she did of her journal using a composition notebook. I didn't have any so I used a spiral bound notebook my son had left over from school. I think they turned out great! I was asked to do a tutorial so that may be up soon :0)

 This is Gillian's. I used the Mickey and Friend's cartridge and the Mickey Font cartridge for all of the cutouts.

 This is the first divider with Mickey :0) They can also add photos to these if they would like. The other side is also designer paper with no character.

 Second divider with Daisy :0)

 And the last divider with Donald :0)

 This one is Nickol's. I wanted them to be slightly different so I put Daisy on the front instead of Minnie.

And the last divider with Donald :0) These are only one subject spiral notebooks so I didn't want to take away too many pages by adding more characters than this. Maybe next time I will plan ahead and get bigger notebooks :0) You can see the video here where I go through the whole notebook, enjoy!

Disney World 2011

Hello blogger friends! We are back from our fantastic 6 day vacation at Disney World! I spent the last 9 hours doing laundry from our trip, yuck! That's a lot of laundry...6 people times 6 days plus swim wear and night clothes! I also spent the in between loads time catching up on some YT videos. I managed to get a few short videos of Caleb so I thought I would share. Maverick got some longer videos but to every one besides us they will probably be boring :0). Here is one Maverick shot when Caleb took Jeremy for a spin around the track...

This one I got when we were hanging out at the pool. They have games every night and this was just a dance session that Caleb joined in on, too cute...

Big news and a room tour!

Hello every one in the blog world! I hope you are all doing well this week :0) I have some very big news....I reached 300 subscribers today on my YT channel!!!! I want to give a specific Thank You to Carolanne AKA Logans Crafty Momma! She has advertised the paper caddie's I did, video here, so well that my subscribers sky rocketed in just a few days. Thank you so much Carolanne!!!! And Thank You to all of my new subscribers, I really appreciate it!

The other news I have is a room tour of my final scraproom. This will be my permanent space from now on. The only thing that may change is just adding shelves and things. Here is Part 1 and here is Part 2. Hope you enjoy and get some good ideas! Have an awesome rest of your week!

Another wonderful award!

While I am in an appreciative mood...I want to pass this award on to a very special friend of mine. I feel like we have known each other our whole lives. I also feel like she could be my sister! Not only has she helped me through some trials of not thinking my creativity was good enough, in my eyes anyway, but she has also become a very special part of my life. We are in contact almost every day and we just keep getting closer and closer. Too bad she lives in Canada!!!! Tracy...not only have you helped me learn that our creativity is all good in our own ways but, you are also one of the best friends any woman could ever have! I have grown to love you like a sister and I do so wish we were closer in living. Thank you for being so wonderful and highly talented! Big Hugs My Friend!!!!

Lego shopping!

So, we took Caleb to the Lego store and after getting there we find out that it is Grand Opening weekend. We had to stand in line for 15-20 minutes just to get in to the store. They also had a Master Lego Builder visiting to build a 3-4 foot Yoda from Star Wars :0) We never did get to see since we couldn't find where it was being built. Oh well, Caleb had fun anyway! See...

My last baby is 7 !

So...Caleb turned 7 years old this morning at 12:54 AM. I've never gone this long without having another so it feels pretty weird to me :0) I think having been blessed with all four of my boys is good enough for me though!

We are having a sock hop at school tonight, how perfect to land on his birthday. He is so excited, feeling extra special now :0)

Caleb wanted cupcakes for school this afternoon so here they are!

He picked the party hat from the doodlecharms cartridge and then picked out the colors. The back of the hats are blue.

Here is a Thank You card I whipped up this afternoon in between doing the icky chore of laundry, lol. This was created for my son Maverick's German teacher. This Friday is their last club meeting, :0( I can't believe it is over already. He has absolutely loved this class and this club. She is fantastic! I am going to get her a little something to go with the card also.

 I used my Ashlyn's alphabet cricut cartridge for the Danke. This is why I really got this one :0) There is a lot of pretty images on here too. The paper I used is from a K&Co die cut mat pad called wild raspberry and the green behind it is from another mat pad of earth tones. The ribbon is a sheer pinkish salmon color I got from my Dollar Tree, love this ribbon!

The inside here is inspired by my friend Tracy! I've never tried inking the whole note card before but I like it, thanks Tracy! I just matted it on a solid texture cardstock from DCWV and used an EK success border punch all the way around.

Teacher Gifts

Here is one of two Teacher gifts I am working on. My boys only have a few weeks left, woo hoo! You can check out the site I got this from here and my youtube video here. I used my Doodlecharms cartridge for all of the cutouts.

 Here I tried to get a closer shot of the mini (1 inch) clothespins. I don't have the best camera for this but, you get the idea. They are to represent bathroom passes :0)
