So...I was in the mood to make a "summer" card. I like spring but, we have had a few thunder storms, which I don't really mind, that have brought on the tornado weather. This freaks me out and where we live we have seen a few and one was only a few miles away a couple of years ago. Until this passes I will be nervous about dark clouds and rain :o) To make myself think better, I made this card. I think I am going to use it as an invite for a BBQ over the summer.

Supplies Used -
Patterned paper-Me & My Big Ideas "Sanctuary"
Image-Studio G
Sentiment-Cardstock sticker from Target
Embellishments-Flower bling and Pearls from stash
Action Wobble-From Tracy :o)

  1. Super cute! I, too, get nervous about storms. My house was hit by a tornado in 1995. It is very scary! I tend to craft to get my mind off of things too!

  2. very cute, Schell! you should enter it over at chatterscene elements only challenge since you didn't use any die cutting machines! :) details/link on my blog on my latest post if you'd be interested! tell Chris I sent ya! i hate tornadoes and storms..lived in Kansas for a few years..omg..scary weather all the time!!!

  3. Super cute! Love the wobble flip flops and the fun summer colors!

  4. I love the card! We had a tornado drill at my school, and being from the East Coast, I'd never seen that before. It was really freaky! So I get where you are coming from!

  5. Such a fun card :)
We got snow and an ice storm today :(
I love thunder storms, but only if I am in the house.
